Africa with Escape Worldwide

Africa is a real passion of ours - we’ve all been, and there’s nothing like being on the Masai Mara at sunrise, exploring the dunes of Namibia’s Sossusvlei or experiencing the Serengeti during the annual wildebeest migration. From Cape Town to Zanzibar , we’re hooked! A good safari will combine different areas to give you a variety of wildlife and landscapes. A driving safari is great  value and really opens up a country, while a flying safari makes easy work of long distances by light aircraft.  A safari in Kenya is like working your way through a guidebook of game, while the national parks of Tanzania are incredibly varied. Hot air ballooning is possible in some locations. It’s easy to follow most itineraries with a stay on the beach, with the likes of Mombasa and Zanzibar being perfect for a beach break with or without a safari! South Africa is one of our favourites, and lends itself perfectly to a fly-drive or escorted tour with its mix of history...

Follow the Annual Mirgration in East Africa

Hi fellow travellers, We're looking at the great annual migration in East Africa in our newsletter this week: http://www.escapeworldwide.co.uk/newsletter/special/Apr10c2.html Both Kenya and Tanzania offer fantastic game viewing, especially during migration time. I've been fortunate enough to have been on safari in both Kenya and Tanzania and have to say they have been the most amazing experiences of my lifetime. Probably one of my biggest highlights was on safari in Kenya where we came across a Cheetah and her two cubs, on a mound taking in the morning sun..... simply amazing animals . We was truly fantastic was when she decided leave the mound and jump on top of our game vehicle! Scary but what an experience, they are fantastic animals! Tour and Beach holiday ideas

Hi fellow travelers, Where has a week gone, time just flies by, time for another newsletter. This week we are focusing on some great Tour and Beach holidays : http://www.escapeworldwide.co.uk/newsletter/offers/Mar10b2.html We have some great ideas to Tanzania , Sri Lanka , Cuba and Thailand . All are simply amazing destinations and a tour is a great way to see pretty much everything they have to offer. Last year I went on safari in Tanzania and it was amazing. I did our 5 night Sopa Serengeti Safari which was simply amazing. We saw tons of wildlife with the highlight being seeing the elusive Leopard, and we managed to see 2....amazing. OK there were some early starts, but boy was it worth it. The benefit of many of the safaris we offer is that they visit different game / national parks so you get to see a wide range of wildlife....which after all is why you are in Tanzania! Or Sri Lanka is a great place for a tour. The country has so much to offer from amazing culture, history...

Favourite Hotels in Zanzibar, Tanzania

Hi fellow travellers, This week we've been looking at our favourite hotels in Zanzibar : http://www.escapeworldwide.co.uk/newsletter/special/znzmar102.html I have been fortunate enough to visit Zanzibar a few time and every time have been totally amazed by it's beauty and charm. Zanzibar is a perfect place for a total break, total relaxation in quality accommodation, with good service and the most stunning of settings! Zanzibar has a great range of beach hotels and the following are just a couple of my personal favourite: The beautiful Planhotel Neptune Pwani is a stunning property set right on a stunning stretch of beach. The hotel has a great range of facilities include a huge swimming pool with a great swim up bar, spacious lush gardens and many eating and drinking options. The rooms are large and spacious and well furnished. The Planhotel Neptune Pwani is a great all-round options for families, couples and groups alike, with a great all inclusive package. In comple...
