Africa with Escape Worldwide

Africa is a real passion of ours - we’ve all been, and there’s nothing like being on the Masai
Mara at sunrise, exploring the dunes of Namibia’s Sossusvlei or experiencing the Serengeti
during the annual wildebeest migration. From Cape Town to Zanzibar, we’re hooked!
A good safari will combine different areas to give you a variety of wildlife and landscapes. A driving safari is great value and really opens up a country, while a flying safari makes easy work of long distances by light aircraft.

Holidays to Zanzibar

A safari in Kenya is like working your way through a guidebook of game, while the national parks of Tanzania are incredibly varied. Hot air ballooning is possible in some locations. It’s easy to follow most itineraries with a stay on the beach, with the likes of Mombasa and Zanzibar being perfect for a beach break with or without a safari!

Safari holidays to Kenya

South Africa is one of our favourites, and lends itself perfectly to a fly-drive or escorted tour with its mix of history and culture, breathtaking scenery and superb food & wine - start an adventure in Cape Town, one of the world’s most magical cities.

Holiday to Sossusvlei and the Namib-Nakluft National Park, Namibia

Nearby Namibia combines incredible natural beauty with excellent wildlife opportunities, and again lends itself well to a fly-drive option. Elsewhere in Southern Africa, Zambia is home to the incredible Victoria Falls, which should be on anyone’s ‘must see’ list, while Botswana is one of Africa’s friendliest countries and offers extraordinary wildlife experiences such as canoe safaris. Sometimes its hard to know where to start with an African adventure, so we’d be delighted to help!

San Francisco, Yosemite, Death Valley & Vegas Fly-Drive

We love the USA and one of our favourite areas is between San Francisco and Las Vegas , via breathe taking Yosemite National Park and unworldly Death Valley. Mark recently did this trip with a hire car and had an amazing time. Mark suggests starting in vibrant San Francisco before collecting a car and driving to stunning Yosemite national Park. Continue to Death Valley and finish your USA fly-drive in Las Vegas. The best time to travel is from April to September, when the weather is best and Tioga Pass should be open. Day 1 - UK to San Francisco Fly from London to San Francisco , arriving later the same day. On arrival into this amazing city, make your way to your chosen hotel, for I would suggest a three night stay, this should give you plenty of time to enjoy this cosmopolitan city. Days 2-3 - San Francisco Spend the next few days exploring San Francisco. Perhaps prebook our San Francisco Helicopter tour, the ultimate San Francisco sightseeing trip - witness stunning vie...

#TravelTuesday - One of our fave places to visit on a USA fly drive holiday - Death Valley National Park.

#TravelTuesday - One of our fave places to visit on a USA 🇺🇸 fly drive holiday - Death Valley National Park. Classic USA road-trip 🚗 country, Death Valley National Park is harsh and barren yet full of natural beauty and stunning vistas, with the lowest point in the US along with the highest temperatures ever recorded. Furnace Creek 🥵 is at the heart of the park, with points such as Zabriskie Point and Mosaic Canyon offering spectacular scenery. As you head north from Death Valley the altitude increases and the temperatures drop, heading towards the massive Sierra Nevada mountains. To the south, the Mojave National Preserve is the epitome of ‘middle of nowhere’, dotted with Joshua trees, volcanic cones and desert wildlife. This region of the USA offers diverse landscapes and stunning scenery - beware of seriously high temperatures in the summer, but for a few days of open spaces and desert scenery, include Death Valley in to your driving itinerary. We have some great USA fly dri...
